Melissa & Alex
November 16th 2019
The Hutton House came alive in a sea of vines and whimsy and Melissa had waited a long time to marry the man of her dreams. When we were gearing up for their first look before the ceremony, a sweet little ring bearer dressed in a wine colored velvet jacket and slick glasses knew he had to steal the show. He had made a big deal out of HIS first look with the bride and groom, so along with Melissa, we arranged to surprise Alex and give a special first look to this little guy before Alex saw his bride. Family and faith are pillars for these two and it came out in the intentionality of the in-the-round ceremony and there were few dry eyes in the room. You could feel that all was right in the world. Their wedding crew kept the party going into the reception with impromptu Lizzo riffs, a conga line in the bridal suite, tons of dancing to the live band at the reception, and laughter in the hot chocolate tent to keep us warm late into the night.
