Nicci and Craig Engagement

I love when couples personalize their engagement sessions, and Nicci and Craig’s was the perfect blend of personal touches and fall magic. They chose our Local Adventure Session, which was a perfect fit because it allowed us to capture their love in the place that means the most to them, right at home.

We started the session at their cozy home, where the front porch was already decked out for Halloween with pumpkins lining the steps. There’s something so warm and inviting about a fall porch, especially when you add two excited dogs into the mix! Their pups joined in on the fun, making for some cute candid moments. They are all about family and home, so it was special to begin in a space that reflects who they are as a couple.

From their home, we set off for a sunset stroll through some nearby trails. These paths hold deep meaning for Nicci and Craig as they spent countless hours walking these trails together during lockdown, talking about life, their future, and building their bond even stronger. The trails, framed by the autumn leaves, were the perfect backdrop for capturing not just their love, but their journey as a couple.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we ended the evening by a crackling fire back at their place. With drinks in hand, Nicci and Craig toasted to their future and all the fun that lies ahead. The warmth of the fire and the laughter shared between all of us made it feel more like a gathering of old friends than a photo session.
