Nicole and Judite

Wedding Date: June 10th 2023

Some small celebrations have enough power and love to fill the biggest venue in the world and Nicole and Judite’s wedding was just that. Our incredible Team Photographer Tasha, joined the pair for a day of love, tons of laughter, and celebrating with their closest friends and family. She met them in the morning where they chose to get ready together. Every item, every detail, every stitch had meaning and significance, so this was such a memorable and joyous time. Nicole’s vintage military uniform was carefully laid out with each medal and ribbon precisely pinned into place. Judite helped to tie Nicole’s tie, but this ended up turning into a laughing fit between everyone in the room because no one was quite sure what step to take next. They did eventually figure it out and it looked perfect. Judite carefully selected her shoes, jewelry, and dress exactly for this momentous occasion and could not wait to give it a twirl. After one last glance in the mirror, they smiled at one another and set off to get married.

We arrived at the Reformation Lutheran Church in Saint Paul where it was already filled with loved ones. You could feel the welcoming and loving atmosphere the second you walked inside, and Nicole and Judite could not wait to get started. As the last guests took their seats, you could feel the excitement in the air and see huge smiles on every face as they waited for the pair to take their place at the front of the aisle. The minister is a close friend and delivered a very sweet and personalized message which had Judite in tears with Nicole wiping them away with a gentle smile. The entire crowd was filled with smiling faces who also happened to have tears running down their cheeks. It was the perfect mix of joy and tears brought on by the love these two have for each other. After dancing down the aisle, the entire group hugged and took their place on the stairs for a big group photo. Then, Judite finally got her moment to twirl in celebration, showing off her dress while Nicole laughed and joined in.

Next, we ventured to White Bear Lake which holds a lot of sentimental value for these two. We found their cute mascot bear and they shared some sweet moments laughing together and strolling the avenues. While the guests started to arrive at the reception location, Nicole and Judite hid away to change into their second look that was perfectly planned for their amazing garden party. Nicole wore a custom suit in which every detail was thought through, from the initialed cuffs to the initials on her shoes with the purple bottoms, she was ready and oh so HER from head to toe. Judite changed into a stunning dress that turned her into a fairy garden princess and it could not have fit the mood better! Outside, the guests were taking their seats in the beautiful secret garden that looked like something out of a fairytale. Judite designed all the flowers and the details in transforming the space were incredible. There were vintage pieces mixed with flowers, candles, and gauzy fabric blowing gently in the breeze. It was everything they dreamed of and more!

The string quartet played them in as the crowd cheered. It was a mix of all their friends and family sitting down for the most delicious meal prepared by a dear friend and professional chef. The minister prayed before the meal, and everyone joined hands to unite as one big family to celebrate their union. This really is what dreams are made of. Shallow played as glasses clinked and heartfelt toasts were given. Everyone laughed and exchanged stories as the sun started to set. The pair made their way to the dance floor and Judite once again showed off her twirling skills masterfully. Everyone joined in and sang along to every song. Sweet Caroline echoed in the night air while everyone sang at the top of their lungs. I could not dream up a more perfect night.
