Parmpreet and Prince Engagement

“I’ll be there for you, as the rain starts to pour. I’ll be there for you, like I’ve been there before…” I’m pretty sure you can finish those lyrics if you grew up anytime around the 90’s. Friends is not only iconic, but it holds a special place in the hearts of Parmpreet and Prince. Both busy doctors in New York, she dreamed of dancing around the Friends fountain featured in the opening credits of the famous tv series during their engagement session. I knew I wanted to make her dreams come true as best as possible, so I flew out to New York to meet them in Central Park and visit the Friends fountain along with many of the other famous sights the park has to offer. My dear friend, Colin Leibold, joined me from California for this epic engagement session and with that, we had all of the coasts covered from East to West, and me from the Midwest in the middle.

Central Park isn’t just special because of the fountain, it’s where Parmpreet and Prince come to relax and let life slow down. The stories this park could tell! Both cinematic and real life love stories have made an impact on this landscape and now they get to be part of that very special history. Before their session, they had shared a vision board with me that featured a few images of boats on the lake. At the end of our time together, we happened upon the row boat rental company and I suggested they get in for a grand finale. They floated around the lake with the epic skyline views of New York off in the distance. It wasn’t long before Parmpreet took the oars and started whirling them around the lake. This Minnesota girl knows her way around a lake and was happy to show off her skills! And just like that, our time in Central Park came to a close, but this is only the beginning of their love story and we can’t wait to join them again in August.
