Tang Tang and Eugene
Wedding Date: February 15th 2025
Tang Tang and Eugene's wedding day was intentional and filled with quiet moments that held genuine meaning. We started the day at the Graduate Hotel in Minneapolis, where Tang Tang and Eugene had set aside time for a calm, unrushed morning. The room held a sense of quiet excitement as Tang Tang slipped into her dress, finishing her preparations surrounded by those closest to her.
They decided on a first look just outside the hotel. Eugene waited patiently as Tang Tang approached, and when he turned around, their smiles said everything. There were no big speeches or dramatic gestures, just a quiet moment shared between them, full of warmth and love.
Afterward, we traveled together to the Twin City Chinese Christian Church in Roseville. Guests began arriving shortly after, while Tang Tang and Eugene spent a few moments tucked away together, quietly preparing for the ceremony ahead. The ceremony was heartfelt and sweet, guided by traditions they hold dear. They lit a unity candle together, exchanged vows, and placed rings on each other's hands. When they were pronounced husband and wife, the room filled with applause as they shared their first kiss as a married couple.
Following the recessional, Eugene coordinated special congregation photos, one with the English congregation and another with the Chinese congregation, capturing the community that supported them through every step of their journey. Before leaving for the reception, Tang Tang and Eugene had a few quiet minutes alone in the sanctuary. It was a short pause in an otherwise full day, giving them time to absorb the significance of what had just happened.
Arriving at McNamara, they had a private sneak preview of the reception space which was stunning and left smiling. It was inviting and relaxed, welcoming their family and friends into a warm evening together. They made their grand entrance and immediately greeted their guests with heartfelt words of appreciation. Dinner was served shortly after, accompanied by toasts from their loved ones. These speeches were genuine and warm, drawing smiles and quiet laughter from around the room.
In a gesture of devotion, they washed one another’s feet, quietly symbolic, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful. The first dances followed and the dance floor opened shortly afterward, filled quickly by friends and family ready to celebrate. They also took the opportunity to greet their guests at each table, sharing conversations and quick photos as they moved through the room.
Tang Tang and Eugene’s wedding was exactly what they had hoped for—thoughtful, genuine, and surrounded by the love and community that supports them. It was an honor to document a day so authentically theirs.
