Amanda and Omar Engagement

When I met Amanda and Omar I knew we would hit it off right away! Our first meeting was over Zoom and it was one of those rare video calls that actually felt like we were all sitting around and chatting in a living room together. When they invited me to photograph their wedding, they wanted to start planning their engagement session right away. But even more than that, they wanted to introduce me to the food that would be at their wedding so half of our engagement planning was discussing the restaurant we would visit together after the session. I have to admit, I showed up with dinner on my mind and was extremely excited to try everything they had described. Much like in my life, food and the memories tied to it, were very important to them as well. We strolled the neighborhood and visited a few prime spots to take advantage of the beautiful summer day. Then we ended at Lake Harriet for a big showstopper landscape with all the boats out on the water.
