Nicole and Jack Part Two Celebration

Wedding date: October 22nd 2021

I welcomed 2021 with Nicole and Jack at their small I Do Day back in January. The two wanted to exchange vows and start their married life together, but knew they would throw a blow out bash once it was safe. Everyone was overjoyed to hear the party planning had begun and in October, ten months later, they were finally able to celebrate surrounded by all of their loved ones. They wanted something classic and timeless for their big event and they knew Bavaria Downs was the perfect location. We started the day off with a casual first look with a glass of champagne in hand and big smiles on their faces. It was nice to see some familiar faces and meet the rest of their close knit crew. Then everyone made their way outside for the most ideal outdoor fall ceremony. When couples plan an outdoor wedding, this is what they have in mind. The sun hung low in the sky casting dramatic shadows and illuminating the colorful leaves that reflected in the calm waters of the lake in the distance. Cheers echoed across the golden plains as the two danced down the aisle and walked off into the sunset. I met up with my new friend, Max the valet, once again as he drove us around the property. It felt a bit like a nature documentary as we crossed the paths of wild turkeys and dodged bounding deer. Then as we were wrapping up photos in one of the many golden fields, coyotes could be heard in the distance so we made our way back to the party. Nicole is also an Edina graduate so we had a lot of crossover and I kept running into people from my past and present and it felt like I was walking through the neighborhood. After an impeccable dinner and some dancing, we all made our way outside for a classic sparkler send off. Nicole’s white jumpsuit glittered and the crowds cheered. What a perfect way to end the night and start their next chapter in life.
