Wedding Date: December 31st 2021

I love a New Years Eve wedding. There’s always a certain buzz in the air with the excitement of a new year just around the corner. This one felt extra special though because when I stepped outside there were little flurries in the air. So not only was it NYE, but it was going to be a magical winter wonderland too! I met Rachel and Patrick through the incredible Rachelle, of Style-Architects Wedding and Events, and knew we would have an amazing day ahead of us.

I joined them at the Landmark Center in Saint Paul where the snow flurries were turning into big fluffy flakes but no one in the bridal suite had any idea because all eyes were fixed on Rachel. She was an absolute vision and couldn’t wait to meet her one and only in a few short minutes. We headed outside where it was now a winter scene straight out of a snow globe. Patrick stood facing the Landmark Center and you could see him take a big breath and not let it out until he turned to see Rachel. They both giggled and twirled around in the snow showing off their attire for this special day.

After meeting up with the wedding party for some fun around the area, we were off to their home church, Nativity of Our Lord. They exchanged vows during a beautiful ceremony and then they were whisked away to check out the grand Saint Paul skyline and stop by The Bulldog for a toast.

Back at the Landmark Center, Rachelle and her team were putting the finishing touches on a creative new layout for the space which looked incredible and was perfect for the NYE festivities. Before any guests entered the space, Rachelle gave Rachel and Patrick a sneak peek where they got to dance and twirl in this grand space all to themselves. Everyone loves these two and their close relationships were apparent through the touching toasts and big laughs throughout the evening. After dinner, we set up our Vick Crazy Cam and let it run through the night. It was a big hit with people coming back again and again! The band started to build excitement as the clock ticked closer and closer to the new year and the dancefloor was full and hopping! Cheers were heard all around as the clock struck midnight and there were Rachel and Patrick in the center of it all, a kiss with their beloved at the new year.

We made our way outside for a big sparkler send off and to welcome in 2022. Here’s to an amazing couple and an amazing new year. Let’s make this one the best yet!
