Taylor and Caleb

Wedding Date: November 21st 2025

Taylor and Caleb have one of those stories that always makes me smile, they matched on a dating app, only to realize they'd gone to the same high school and had entire friend groups that overlapped the whole time. Funny how life works like that.

The morning started in the suite with a full dress reveal, all of Taylor's bridesmaids gathered around, and I'll be honest, her dress deserves every bit of attention it's going to get. Classic, detailed, the kind of gown that photographs beautifully. Her bouquet matched that same energy, large and elegant in the best way, exactly the kind of statement piece that anchors a whole look.

She shared a first look with her dad before anything else happened, a quiet moment tucked in before the day picked up speed. Then came the real first look outside the venue, and I tried to stay as far out of the way as I could for that one. Some moments just deserve to happen without anyone hovering, camera included. Taylor and Caleb exchanged letters they'd written to each other and just talked and enjoyed the moment.

From there we wandered the grounds together while the light did something spectacular. Golden hour has a way of making everything feel a little more cinematic, and Bavaria Downs gave us plenty to work with. Once the wedding party joined in, the whole energy shifted, suddenly it felt like the celebration had officially started. And this was a big crew, easily one of the largest wedding parties I've photographed this year, full of exactly the kind of chaos and joy you'd want.

The ceremony took place indoors in front of the stone hearth, and classic florals lined the aisle and draped across the mantle, simple and elegant and completely gorgeous. After the ceremony we headed back outside for another round of photos at sunset, and it did not disappoint. That kind of light only shows up a handful of times a year, and I felt lucky to catch it twice in one day.

Inside, the reception space had been completely transformed, florals everywhere, the whole room glowing with that same classic elegance from earlier. Their first dance was unhurried and genuine, followed by toasts that were warm and sweet. All in all, a beautifully classic day, the kind that reminds me why I love photographing weddings that don't try to be anything other than exactly what they are with two people completely in love.
