Sarah and Alex Engagement

I love when a couple is up for absolutely anything for their engagement session, and love it even more when they come up with a fun idea to show off their personality. When I was talking with Sarah and Alex in preparation for their session, they mentioned that they wanted to do a “glamping” themed engagement. I had heard of glamping and immediately thought of fancy yurts by the coast and big king size beds with feather duvets in the woods. I was obviously all in and couldn’t wait to see what they came up with. Wow, was I in for a surprise! When they said glamping, they really meant they were going to go camping in their best formal attire! I was instantly blown away and couldn’t wait to see Sarah as an ax wielding bombshell in a formal red ball gown and purple updo. 

They made every single moment so much fun and I couldn’t stop smiling. The only downside was it happened to be the hottest day of the summer with temps well over 100. But these two weren’t detoured at the slightest and I honestly don’t think you could even tell it was a scorcher from their photos! After setting up the tent, they took a quick champagne and s’more break (excellent idea!) and then we headed to the beach for sundown. The heat still hung in the air but you’d never know it as they danced through the nearby fields, feet still sandy from the beach visit a few moments prior.
